Chinatown

Last month we took a whirlwind trip from San Francisco to Palm Springs, California to Tampa, Florida. We haven't had the time with the creation of issue 2 to even really look at any of the photos from that trip, but here are a couple that we really wanted to share. Chinatown in San Fran is a real must-see on a trip to the city. Even though plenty of other tourists have the same inclination as us, we still find it to be a real gem - super vibrant and alive. Each shop window makes you want to stop and smash your face up against it to get a glimpse at what could be inside. And the facades are wonderful.

Did you know?

We like beer.

Scrolling through our instagrams I realized, "shit! we drink a lot of beer." The truth is, ever since moving to Belgium beer has taken on a whole new life. Not only do you find such a wide array of fabulous beers, which are almost always local, they are also really inexpensive. In fact, in a bar in Brussels you'll pay the same amount for water as you will for a Stella. It's the best... And the worst. Our love of beer in Belgium has inspired us to try as many beers as possible also when we're on vacation. We give it a real go, let me tell you.

Introducing Eatalic

Our friends Axelle Minne (who you've seen guest blogging here) and Julie Seutin have launched their food design studio here in Brussels called Eatalic. They launched their concept with a pop-up resto for 50 people on restaurant day a week ago. Here are some photos from their successful event.
